Our Mission
We’re dedicated to providing the Cazenovia, NY community and beyond with a safe and nurturing environment for learning, exploration, play, and celebration. We believe that children of all ages benefit from a place where they feel welcomed. And that a flourishing community needs a space where families can connect and support each other.
Space to Scamper
We encourage kids to get outside and explore. With 20 acres and 2 miles of trails, your child will have plenty of fresh air and space to safely roam.
Room to Grow
With programming for PreK-6, our students will connect with all ages, helping them foster empathy, leadership, and kindness toward others.
Our Programs
Rippleton Center offers quality care and learning experiences for children from 6weeks old through the preschool years. Our school age program builds on children’s interests while allowing a safe and fun nature-based learning environment.
Infant and Toddler
Infant: 6 weeks- 18 months
Toddler: 18months- 3 years
This important period of childhood thrives on strong relationships and warmth from caregivers. Our youngest learners are not only provided with love and gentle caregiving routines, but opportunities to learn and thrive in all areas of development. Teachers provide individualized care as needed as well as developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Preschool and UPK Wrap Around
FOR 3-5 years old
Our Preschool program provides a nature immersed learning experience for children during this important period of child development. Child led interests and play fuel our days in an out of the classroom while preparing us for school. Children enrolled in Universal PreK are able to register for after school care and are provided with space and time to unwind after a long day!
After School & Summer Camp
FOR K-5th GRADERS
Our school age program provides after school care to children during the school year, as well as nature based camps during school breaks. During the school year children are bussed from Burton Street to Rippleton

Can Drive!
Our Can Drive is in full swing! Bring your cans to Caz Cans and donate the proceeds to our account. You can also drop your cans at Rippleton Center and we will handle the rest!
Festival Of Trees!
The Rippleton Center Board of Directors presents: the first-annual Cazenovia Festival of Trees. Join us at the Wildcat Athletic Center Thanksgiving weekend (27 & 28 Nov, 2026) for a family friendly, fun and engaging holiday festival featuring decorated trees, live entertainment, children’s activities, a gingerbread village, vendors, and more. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 each (children five and under, free).
Charitable Giving
All proceeds benefit our non-profit daycare center at 3360 Thompson Road. Corporate and personal donations will be recognized on our marketing materials throughout the year.
We are particularly grateful for monetary donations, food (on the day), and marketing materials such as signage and merchandise.
